I liked that because when she discovers who Hudson is some of the details made me think that Hudson would discover the pregnancy in another manner. It is not a regular sized book like I had as a girl, but a tiny book that is the size of my palm. We get a sense of the smells from a busy kitchen, the spark of spirit despite life's tragedies and hardship, and the willingness to move on without dwelling on whatever might have happened in the past. Long before they took her kitchen to the Smithsonian, my friends and I watched the aging Child continue her shows with wit and character. Despite that huge flaw, these first two are worth reading, but due to the writers inability to create real passion, I think I will skip the rest of the series. The difference in this book & some of the others in this series is that at least four of the characters not only hear the ghosts trying to help them solve the murder but they can all see the ghosts as well. I'm not going to go into details of the story, like a lot of "reviewers" do. All in all a good story with memorable characters. The Soul, the real-self is camouflaged by pain and drama stemming from drugs, alcohol, hate, war, anger, family circumstances, gambling, sex, religion, and even the Internet. 5x11, 128 pages, 250+ color photographs with captions. I’ve spent 40+ years developing training (mostly sales training) including stints at two tech companies that aspired to do what HubSpot is clearly excelling at. The examples are clear, but not every situation. I hope they reprint this book soon.
